I first started in the industry in 2008 when I started work for an Arb approved company, here I gained a wealth of practical and theory based knowledge. I soon became a climber and team leader, I went on to do a ten week tree surgery course at Merrist wood college in Surrey where I gained all necessary practical qualifications. I also completed the Tech cert (ArborA) Technician’s Certificate Arboricultural with tree life training at Westonbirt arboretum. When I started my family in 2010 I went on to quoting and shadowing on survey work, I took time to shadow our local tree officers at Lichfield council to get an idea of what the industry is like from their perspective. I have traveled and worked in North Carolina America and competed in a few UK and American tree climbing competitions. I set up my company ACWArb (Annalize Cressida Wright, Arb for arboriculture) in 2011 when my son was just three months old and have dedicated myself since to carrying out high quality tree surgery and hedge works. My family is my world, running my own business has allowed me to work hard whilst having quality time to bring up my children.

After i finished school a went to Rodbaston college and studied horticulture level 1 and 2. I’ve lived in Lichfield most of my life and enjoy going to the gym, mountain biking and playing rugby for Lichfield City.
Originally from the North York moors, now settled in Lichfield. After a 15-year classical music career I had a complete change to the Arboricultural industry and haven't looked back!
Anna was the first person to take me onto her team and since then I have progressed into a sub contractor climber working for ACWArb and around the West Midlands.
Interests include mountain biking, hiking, cooking and music.
From a farming/game keeping family I have always been an "outdoor person", with keen interests: in rock climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking.
Originally qualifying as an engineer, re-qualified as an Arborist in 2015.
Throughout this period I have been and remain a serving member of a Technical rescue/USAR unit based within the West Midlands.
Utilising aerial skills learned in both sectors of work.
I first started in the arboriculture industry in 2020. I’m currently a trainee climber and have completed my felling, cross cutting, chipper and maintenance courses. Before getting into the industry I instructed a multitude of outdoor activities including high ropes which is also my hobby and passion outside of work. I love being outdoors and I’m enthusiastic about learning new things everyday!
I have been working with Anna and company since November 2020 as a ground worker. I have worked for other tree companies for a few years. Before that, I have a self-employed gardener/landscaper for 4 years, so I have a very broad range of knowledge. In my spare time I love fixing things and solving problems and puzzles.
