I first started in the industry in 2006 when I started work for an Arb approved company, here I gained a wealth of practical and theory based knowledge.

I first started in the industry in 2008 when I started work for an Arb approved company, here I gained a wealth of practical and theory based knowledge. I soon became a climber and team leader, I went on to do a ten week tree surgery course at Merrist wood college in Surrey where I gained all necessary practical qualifications. I also completed the Tech cert (ArborA) Technician’s Certificate Arboricultural with tree life training at Westonbirt arboretum. When I started my family in 2010 I went on to quoting and shadowing on survey work, I took time to shadow our local tree officers at Lichfield council to get an idea of what the industry is like from their perspective. I have traveled and worked in North Carolina America and competed in a few UK and American tree climbing competitions. I set up my company ACWArb (Annalize Cressida Wright, Arb for arboriculture) in 2011 when my son was just three months old and have dedicated myself since to carrying out high quality tree surgery and hedge works. My family is my world, running my own business has allowed me to work hard whilst having quality time to bring up my children.

I have been working with Anna and company since November 2020 as a ground worker. I have worked for other tree companies for a few years. Before that, I have a self-employed gardener/landscaper for 4 years, so I have a very broad range of knowledge. In my spare time I love fixing things and solving problems and puzzles.

We have used Anna and her team for a number of years now. We run a landscape gardening company that covers the West Midlands. We have required tree work to be carried out at some of our larger properties, which ACWArb have executed to a very high standard. We will continue to use them in the future, and will be happy to recommend with no hesitation.

Over the last few years, I have been very happy to have ACWArb deal with my trees and hedges. We have had two large awkward trees felled, high hedges trimmed, and used them for general advice about trees. Anna and her team are polite, efficient, prompt, and reliable. They have been flexible about access times and have always put us, the customer, first. They leave the site tidy and undamaged. I would happily recommend her as the best tree surgeon that I have come across.

"Girls shouldn't climb trees" - Well forget that idea! Anna, from ACW, was born to the job & anything tree maintenance related. Whilst being extremely professional she is also friendly & very approachable, happy to go the extra mile if the job needs. You won't wait ages for her quote either, her admin is as professional as her work, right down to the final sweep up. ACW have done both domestic garden jobs for me removing some ancient conifers & commercial work taking the tops out of some frighteningly tall Poplars. I cannot recommend Anna & ACW highly enough- just wish the Poplars would hurry up and grow so I can get her back!
